Bites & Sips in Avondale
Located just outside of downtown Charleston, Avondale is a lively and popular section of West Ashley. A collection of shops and local restaurants make this a popular destination for an afternoon of shopping, a delicious dinner or a glass of wine with friends. Some of our favorite spots are highlighted below.
Classic Coffee Roasters: Grab a quick cup of coffee, a refreshing smoothie, or a delicious pastry and relax outside on the patio.
Al Di La: another outside dining opportunity where you can enjoy Italian dishes like ricotta and mascarpone gnocchi or duck confit tagliatelle.
The Roost: A great sport’s bar to catch the game.
Oak Barrel Tavern: Go for craft beer and sushi – an unexpectedly awesome combination!
Triangle Char & Bar: a go-to brunch spot with $1 mimosas, benedicts, omelettes, pancakes, French toast, etc. – all of the (delicious) usual brunch suspects. 
Avondale Wine and Cheese Bar: a great spot to gather the girls (especially for Wednesday night Ladies’ Night!) over a glass or two of wine. They run great happy hour specials all week long!
Mellow Mushroom Avondale: Definitely one of the coolest MM’s around! Grab some of their amazing pizza at the bar watching the game, or bring the whole family to everyone’s favorite pizza joint.
Voodoo Tiki Bar: This eclectic spot has tiki drinks, tequila, a great bar menu, and a back patio – with events and specials happening frequently!
