- Charleston Restaurant Week (September 5-16): Charleston Restaurant Week is always a hotly anticipated fall event. The 12-day event, beginning on September 5th, is a celebration of Charleston’s culinary scene, with participating restaurants offering a prix fixe menu with multiple courses. - Charleston Water Week (September 8-16): Charleston Water Week kicks off on September 8th with dozens of water-related activities. Boat cruises, kayak trips, beachside yoga and Dog Day afternoons at area water parks are just some of the fun events scheduled throughout the week. Visit the event’s website for a full list. - 2nd Annual Southern Fried Chicken Challenge (September 8): Local and regional restaurants will compete to make the most delicious fried chicken.
