With cooler temperatures (hopefully) here to stay, there are many great events taking place in the Lowcountry this month. Here is a round-up of our must-do events for November:
- Unplugged at Palmetto Brewery (11/12, 11/19 & 11/26): Join Palmetto Brewery every Saturday for live music and tasty local beer at Palmetto Brewery. The downtown tasting room, located at 289 Huger Street, opens at 1pm with bar snacks, local music and food for purchase from Swig & Swine. $10 gets you in the door and they’ll be pouring $5 beers all day. - Second Sunday on King (11/13): Enjoy a stroll down King Street–car-free! Starting at on Sunday at noon, King Street (from Calhoun to Broad) transforms into a pedestrian walkway with shops, restaurants and performers setting up shop along the sidewalks and streetway. Perfect for a Sunday stroll or some early holiday shopping. (Image from Turkey Day Run)
- The Turkey Day Run (11/24): Before you feast on a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, head over to Marion Square Park for the 39th Annual Turkey Day Run & Gobble Wobble. The 5k event benefits the Knights of Columbus and there is a lively after party with live music, free beer and tons of great food following the event.
