With warmer weather here to stay, now is one of the best times to get out and explore the Holy City. March kicks off the busy spring event season with a collection of annual festivals and celebrations taking place throughout the month. Here are some of our top picks:
- Camellia Walks (March 9, 11, 14, 16 & 18): Head over to West Ashley’s famed Middleton Place to enjoy a beautiful display of blooming camellias. Hundreds of varieties are found in the original gardens, including one of the first camellias planted in America. Guided tours are offered on the above dates (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays through March 18th).

The five-night celebration showcases emerging designer and model talent with over 25 runways shows.
