The Cassina Guide: July 2018 Events

Summer is in full swing here in Charleston!  If you need a break from the beach or boat, here are some fun evening events taking place in the Lowcounrty this month:

  1. Friday Night Boogie Series (July 13):  Dust off those dancing shoes and head to the Mt. Pleasant Pier for an evening of grooving under the stars.  The event takes place from 7-11pm with oldies and beach music classics.                                                                                  (Image from CCPRC)
  2. Reggae Nights (July 20):  Hosted by Charleston County Parks, this popular summertime music series is back on July 20th.  The outdoor concert takes place at James Island County Park, with music beginning at 8:30pm and food and drink available to purchase.                                                                          (Image from CCPRC)
  3. Rum Dinner at Circa 1886 (July 26):  What’s better than good food? Good food and rum!  On July 26th, Circa 1886 will take diners on a rum journey to experience the “influences on cuisine brought from the West Indies and Caribbean” with a reception on the patio and a four course dinner.                                                                                   (Image from Circa 1886)
