Even though February is a short month, there are plenty of fun events taking place in Charleston. Here are some of our favorite ones occurring this month:
- Southeastern Wildlife Expo (February 17-19): This highly-anticipated annual event celebrates “wildlife and nature through fine art, conservation education, sporting demonstrations” and more. The festivities kick off on February 17th and run throughout the weekend. For a full schedule of events, click here. (Image from SEWE)
- Art & Wine Walk (February 17th): Hosted by Freshfields Village at the entrance to Kiawah and Seabrook Islands, the annual Art & Wine Walk is an opportunity for residents and visitors to “watch live art demonstrations, view works from local and visiting artists, and enjoy live jazz music and tastes of wine at participating stores.” The event kicks off on Friday, February 17th at 4:00pm and lasts until 7:00pm. - 13th Annual Mardi Crawl (February 25th): Now in its 13th year, the Mardi Crawl 2017 will start at Red’s Icehouse and “crawl” to seven different locations on Shem Creek. Funds benefit local nonprofits including the Alzheimer’s Association, Pet Helpers and more. Enjoy games, beads, prizes, along with food and drink specials and love music at participating spots.
