While February may be a bit cooler, it’s still warmer in Charleston than in many parts of the country. There are several great events going on this month–from Oysterfest to Bacon and Bourbon to SEWE. Read on for details on these great events.
- Oysterfest (February 1): The South Carolina Aquarium will kick off their After Hours series with Oysterfest on February 1st from 7:30-10:30pm. The 21+ event will feature local cuisine and seafood from several area restaurants along with entertainment, beer and wine. Image from Oysterfest
- Save the Light Half Marathon & 5K (February 2): Hosted by the Charleston County Parks, this annual race features a half marathon and a 5k on Folly Beach. - Southeastern Wildlife Expo (February 15-17): A highly anticipated event every year, SEWE kicks off Charleston’s event season. The three-day festival has events throughout the Lowcountry, including guided talks, parties, art exhibits, an expo with demonstrations in Marion Square Park and so much more.
