- Charleston Restaurant Week (September 9-19): This highly anticipated culinary event kicks off on September 9th and runs through the 19th. Restaurants throughout the Lowcountry will be offering special prix fixe menus so make sure to check out the website for offerings and reservations!
2. 2nd Sunday on King (September 12): After an 18-month hiatus due to COVID-19, 2nd Sunday on King Street is back! The monthly event starts on September 12th with King Street being shut down to vehicular traffic from Calhoun to Queen Streets from 12-5pm. Sip, shop and stroll!
3. 44th Annual Cooper River Bridge Run (September 25): The Cooper River Bridge Run is back and will take place on Saturday, September 25th. The 10k race starts in Mt. Pleasant and ends in Marion Square Park in downtown Charleston. Registrations are still available or join the post-race festivities downtown.
