The beautiful fall weather is here in Charleston! There’s so many great events going on and we’ve put together a list of some of our favorites taking place this month.
- 35th Annual MOJA Arts Festival (September 27-October 7): Now in its 35th year, the MOJA Arts Festival is a celebration of African-American and Caribbean Arts. The festival will run from Thursday, September 27th through Sunday, October 7th with events in visual arts, classical music, dance, jazz, poetry, children’s activities and much, much more throughout the city.
(Image from MOJA Festival) - Fall Tours of Homes (October 4-28): Join the Preservation Society of Charleston for a month-long series featuring some of downtown’s most beautiful private homes. Tours are self-paced from 2-5pm with a variety of different tour options throughout the month.
(Image from Preservation Society) - Charleston Oktoberfest (October 7): Come celebrate all things German with German beer, music, food and dancers at the 15th Annual Oktoberfest at MUSC Health Stadium. There will be local vendors, a kids zone and more, including Bavarian games.
