With spring weather almost here, it’s a great time to get out and explore the Lowcountry. There are so many great events going on this month–from annual events including the Wine + Food and the Festival of Houses + Gardens to the Charleston Brunch Festival, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Here are our top picks for the month:
- Charleston Wine + Food (March 4-8): During this weekend-long annual event, Charleston will welcome chefs, wine makers and food enthusiasts from around the country. Events throughout the Lowcountry will feature everything from special dinners to wine pairings to the Culinary Village in Marion Square, all showcasing Charleston’s diverse culinary scene.
- 73rd Annual Festival of Houses + Gardens (March 11-April 18): Now in it’s 73rd year, the annual Festival of Houses + Gardens (hosted by the Historic Charleston Foundation) grants you access to some of the city’s most prestigious private homes and gardens. There are several different tours to choose from along with luncheons, concerts and lifestyle events during this month-long festival.
- Charleston Brunch Festival (March 21): Brunch is a celebrated tradition in Charleston. On March 21st, The Bend will host the Charleston Brunch Festival featuring food from great Charleston restaurants, live music and ALL of the brunch cocktails including mimosas, Blood Marys, Brunch Punch, beer and wine.
