Summer is officially here, and we are so excited for the warm days and long nights ahead. There’s so much to see and do in the Lowcountry this time of year; here are some of our favorite events for the month of June:
1. Safe Sounds at Firefly Concert Series (June 19 & June 26): There’s nothing that screams summer more than an outdoor concert. One June 19th and 26th, head to Firefly Distillery to enjoy beer, wine, food trucks and great live music. June 19th will feature Elise Testone & BlackNoyze, and June 26th will feature The Midnight City Band.
2. Firefly Yoga (June 19 & June 26): Kick your weekend off right with a 45-minute outdoor gentle yoga class Saturdays at 11am. The events are held at Firefly Distillery’s new Park Circle location, and after the class, enjoy live music, food trucks, tastings and more.
3. Island Wines Class (June 26th): Gather at Zero George Street’s outdoor courtyard for a special evening of sampling wines from Greece, Sicily, Corsica and the Canary Islands. You’ll enjoy a curated selection of four wines, and after the tasting, you can take home your favorite bottle.
