Beautiful spring weather has arrived in Charleston! We are so excited to get out and enjoy the Lowcountry. Here are a few events coming up this month that we are looking forward to:
- Charleston Outdoor Fest (April 13 & 14): Head over to James Island County Park for a weekend of fun celebrating paddlesports and outdoor recreation. Try a variety of sports including kayaking, slacklining, mountain biking or the climbing wall, all while enjoying a vendor village complete with live music and organizations showcasing products and services.
(Image from Charleston Outdoor Fest) - Charleston Songwriters Festival (April 18-20): Billed as a festival to bring together songwriters, artists, music industry professionals and fans, the inaugural Charleston Songwriters Festival will take place April 18-20. Performances and concerts are scheduled throughout downtown with single day and weekend passes available.
(Image from Charleston Songwriters Festival) - Blessing of the Fleet and Seafood Festival (April 28): Now in its 32nd year, the Blessing of the Fleet Festival will take place on April 28th from 11am-5pm at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park. Enjoy a boat parade, live music, craft show and lots of great activities, all while celebrating the local shrimping and fishing industry.
