The Cassina Group: April 2018 Events

April is one of the busiest times of year in Charleston–both for real estate and local events.  A few of our favorite annual events take place this month and we’ve chosen our top three. From beautiful architecture to world-class tennis to the biggest race in Charleston, April has something for everyone.

  1. Festival of Houses & Gardens (March 15-April 21): The Cassina Group is proud to be this year’s presenting sponsor for Historic Charleston Foundation’s Festival of Houses and Gardens.  Now in its 71st year, the festival celebrates the city’s distinctive architecture and renowned gardens with exclusive tours of some of the city’s most celebrated private homes.                                                                                             (Image from HCF)
  2. Volvo Car Open (March 31-April 8): Head over to Daniel Island to catch North America’s largest women’s tennis tournament.  The nine-day event takes place at Volvo Car Stadium and attracts more than 100 of tennis’ highest-ranked players.  Daily matches, along with other activities, make it a must-do spring event.                                                                               (Image from Volvo Car Open)
  3. Cooper River Bridge Run (April 7): On Saturday, April 7th, 40,0000 runners and walkers will participate in the Cooper River Bridge Run.  The 10k race starts in Mount Pleasant (going past our office on Coleman Boulevard) and ends in downtown’s Marion Square Park.  This event typically sells out so make sure you register soon!                                                                    (Image from Cooper River Bridge Run)
