Old Village May Day Block Party & Market

The Village ConnectionMark your calendars!  A community block party will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 2-5pm for residents and neighbors of the Old Village.  The event will be coordinated by Jackie Kelly with The Village Connection and hosted by The Cassina Group.

“We are so excited to be hosting this event again this spring,” said event organizer Jackie Kelly.  “It will be an exciting day and a great way to connect the Village!”

Geared towards people of all ages, this Old Village community event is sure to be fun-filled with plenty to see and do.  Local artists and businesses will be on hand to sell their wares and there will be plenty of food and drinks as well!  Activities for the kids will include face painting, raffles, games and even a dunk tank—so come on out Old Village, here is your chance to dunk The I’On Group’s own Vince Graham from 4:00-4:30pm!    

The event will take place on Hibben Street from Coleman Boulevard to Whilden Street.  It is sure to be a enjoyable event so make sure you come out to see all the people and things that make the Old Village so special!
