Market Report | March 2023

We want to provide you with a market report on real estate activity in the Charleston area. The statistics have just been released by CHS Regional MLS for March 2023. We continue to see a pattern of lower closed sales, but significant increases in average sales price. Through March of this year, there have been 1,126 single-family detached homes sold in Charleston County, representing a decrease of 32.3% over the same period last year. The average sales price has increased though, to $854,351, marking an increase of 10.3% over the same period last year.
