Real estate market data for February has just been released. In February of 2023, there were 1,131 homes sold in the Charleston area at a median price of $385,388. This represents 24% fewer home sales than in February of last year, but at a median price that is 3% higher. We are also seeing an increase in the number of homes available for sale. Data shows a 70% increase in the number of homes on the market now as opposed to this time last year, but this is still less than half of what is needed for a balanced market.
