As we enter the second quarter of the year, we are continuing to see some of the same patterns that emerged in the first few months of 2023. In Charleston County’s April Report, the number of closed sales are down significantly, but both median and average sales price remain higher than at the same point last year. While the market data varies from area to area, these trends are largely true throughout the Tri-County area. Per the CHS Regional MLS Report for April 2023, the average sales price for a single family home in Charleston County is now $854,828.
