Since 1974, The Ronald McDonald House has spread to over 59 different regions around the world. They offer families a comfortable home to live in while their children undergo extensive medical treatment. At the Medical University of South Carolina, The Ronald McDonald House offers a home within the hospital, so families can be close to their children.

Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels delivers over one million meals a day across America. Founded in 1940 during the height of World War II, Meals on Wheels will serve food from a central location or deliver directly to the recipient’s door. Most recipients of the meals have serious health conditions and little to no families. Meals on Wheels could use drivers to help deliver meals or could utilize monetary donations to help provide food to the elderly.

The American Red Cross (Carolina Lowcountry Chapter)
The American Red Cross reaches over 100 million underprivileged people across the globe each year. Being the largest humanitarian network, the Red Cross supports over 13 million volunteers in 187 countries providing relief for disasters, safer communities, and education. The Carolina Lowcountry Chapter serves Beaufort, Berkeley, Charleston, Colleton, Dorchester, Hampton and Jasper counties and is part of the Palmetto SC Region of the American Red Cross.
