Many volunteers give their time and energy to building the homes. Corporate donors may provide their support through offering volunteers or building materials.

The Ronald McDonald House

Since 1974, The Ronald McDonald House has spread to over 59 different regions around the world. They offer families a comfortable home to live in while their children undergo extensive medical treatment. At the Medical University of South Carolina, The Ronald McDonald House offers a home within the hospital, so families can be close to their children.

Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels delivers over one million meals a day across America. Founded in 1940 during the height of World War II, Meals on Wheels will serve food from a central location or deliver directly to the recipient’s door. Most recipients of the meals have serious health conditions and little to no families. Meals on Wheels could use drivers to help deliver meals or could utilize monetary donations to help provide food to the elderly.
