Cassina TV: The Charleston Tea Plantation

The Charleston Tea Plantation is the home of American Classic Tea, tea grown 100% in America. It is located on picturesque Wadmalaw Island in the heart of South Carolina’s Lowcountry.    Today the Charleston Tea Plantation offers more than just a cup of fresh tea!  Thanks to the Bigelow Family, the true working tea farm presents a learning experience unlike any other in the country.  Its grounds include 127 acres of tea plants, a working Tea Factory and a charming Plantation Gift Shoppe.  They also host events throughout the year including the First Flush Festival, a musical festival to celebrate the first harvest of tea, which featured The Avett Brothers and other local bands this year.  In this month’s episode of Cassina TV, we sit down with William Hall, owner of the Tea Plantation, to learn more about this unique Charleston landmark!
