Cassina Guide: May Events

Whether you like beautiful homes, art, live music or craft beer (or all four), there is sure to be a Charleston event this May that catches your eye.  Here are some of our top picks for this month:

  1. Old Village Home, Garden & Art Tour: Located in Mount Pleasant, the Old Village is one of the town’s most iconic neighborhoods.  In the annual Old Village Home Tour, private homes and gardens are open for a one-day tour benefitting the American Red Cross.  The event will take place on Sunday, May 1st from 12-5pm.Art Walk                                                                             Photo Credit (Charleston Gallery Association)
  2.   3. Palmetto Brewgrass Festival:  If you like craft beer and bluegrass, Palmetto Brewing’s Brewgrass Festival is sure to be an event you don’t want to miss.  Held at the brewery’s downtown location, this two-day festival on May 7th and 8th features over 14 musical acts along with tasty libations from the brewery.
