Agent Spotlight : Kris Pedro

kris-pedro-with-words

Kris Pedro started a career in real estate to help her clients ease the relocation process — whether moving across the country or across the river. Originally from Southern California, Kris obtained her undergraduate degree in finance and ultimately a law degree. As a practicing attorney, she honed her skills in the fine art of negotiation.Kris knows the excitement and the stress of managing a move, becoming part of a community and making a new home. After all of the moves she and her family have made, she knows that an agent who is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and detail oriented is crucial to success. A successful move is about much more than simply finding a house, it is about making a home. Mount Pleasant is now home to Kris, her husband and their three boys who are in high school, middle school and elementary school.

1) Favorite street in Charleston? East Bay Street for the restaurants, King Street for the shopping or South Battery for the homes.
2) Favorite restaurant in Charleston? Halls Chophouse – Food is amazing, service is impeccable and we have some amazing memories of family celebrations there.
3) Favorite activity outside of work? Time spent with my husband and three boys either on the water or watching baseball, soccer or basketball (either the boys playing on teams or (semi) professional teams).
4) Favorite local product? Benne Wafers.  There’s nothing like it where I’m from and they’re so addicting!  I always have a package for out of town guests as a welcome.
5) Favorite annual event? Mount Pleasant Christmas Parade – it has such a small town feel and signals the start of the holiday season.
6) Must-see spot in Charleston? Pavilion Bar on the roof of the Market Pavilion Hotel at sunset.  The views of the water, Ravenel Bridge and Charleston cannot be beat!
