Dewey Golub was raised in Weston, a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts. After attending Lawrence Academy in Groton, Massachusetts he graduated from the College of Charleston in 1998, earning his degree in Marine Biology.

His career in sales began immediately following graduation when he joined a software start up company. He soon moved onto retail production, responsible for outside sales in the West Coast market. In 2002 - after extensive travel in South America and Europe - he decided to make Charleston his forever home because of the lifestyle, historic charm and his love of sailing and salt water fishing. And with a desire use his skills and follow his passion for home restoration, he began his real estate career, concentrating on multi-family conversion projects.

The top of the market saw many successful projects with multiple 250+unit conversions selling out completely in a single sales day. This volume magnitude has given him a unique insight in large project management, marketing, sales and closings. Dewey's focus is now centered on both historic restoration/renovation projects along with commercial reuse strategy.

He joined The Cassina Group in the Spring of 2011 and specializes in luxury residential sales and commercial development.
