Jimmy Dye was born in Augusta, GA but he has a lifelong affinity for South Carolina's Lowcountry as this was the place where he spent the majority of his childhood summers. After graduating from The University of Georgia in 1994, Jimmy moved back to his summertime stomping ground of the Lowcountry. In 1996, he launched a restaurant in the historic district of Charleston, and in 1999, he transitioned into real estate sales and quickly became a leader in the industry.

In 2006, Jimmy Dye and Robertson Allen joined forces to spearhead The Cassina Group, LLC and the company has become one of Charleston's premier real estate firms. Year after year, The Cassina Group ranks in the top 5% of all real estate offices in the Charleston area and handles more transactions and gross sales volume than many competitors.

In his free time, Jimmy enjoys taking in all that Charleston's beautiful waterfront has to offer. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys yacht racing in the Charleston Harbor and paddle board and surfing in the waters of Sullivan's Island. He is also an expert fisherman and can often be found participating in tournament sport fishing and inshore fishing. Jimmy's extensive knowledge of Charleston's coastal ecosystem and landscape has helped him develop a keen eye for residential and commercial properties in this unique market, and he specializes in Lowcountry waterfront properties. Jimmy is also very experienced in land transactions and is an expert in marketing local, regional and national residential developments. he continues to rank in the top 5% of all Charleston realtors year after year and has earned the Realtor of Distinction award several years running.
