What others have to say about John:
Tyler & Libba Dockery:
"John was a pleasure to work with and was extremely helpful in our search for our new home. He ensured all of our needs were met and made what we thought could be a treacherous process seem like a walk in the park. He was very professional, yet down to earth which helped him understand our needs and expectations which resulted in what is now our dream home."
Carlos & Lisa Escobar:
"The last three homes we have purchased, I have found and used the realtor to show them to me and facilitate the purchase. John was the first realtor who actually took the time to understand what we were looking for and showed us a property I had not considered. It turns out, the property he showed us fit our desires better than anything I had found online. We ended up buying the house he had selected for us. In addition to doing his homework on our housing desires, he also did a great job facilitating the purchase. In this banking environment, John was instrumental in finding a lender that we worked with and eventually secured our loan through. Our experience working with John was excellent. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a property in Mount Pleasant."
William & Carolyn Barone:
"It is a pleasure to write a letter of testimonial for John Barnwell. Having experience in purchasing a number of homes and condominiums over the years, we found John to be quite an unusual real estate agent. We really felt like he was representing our best interests in negotiating on various properties.
We worked with John for over a year while we were in the process of purchasing a second home in the Charleston area. We found John to be a real pleasure to work with on this project. He was patient and worked hard to educate us to the real estate market in the area. Our search took us from the Bee Street Lofts to Daniel Island to Mt. Pleasant and ultimately to Hamlin Plantation. John defines the term customer service: he is pleasant, efficient, knowledgeable about the area, a quick turn around on any request and willing to act on our behalf as our agent. The whole experience was painless and we are quite happy with the outcome and the townhouse that we purchased. We speak highly of him to all our friends in Pittsburgh and will not hesitate to recommend him to anyone interested in purchasing a home in the Charleston area."
