Garrett Rust has actively sold real estate for 19 years. She began her career in 1993 in Charlotte, N.C., her native hometown. She grew up in a real estate household as her mother was Charlotte's top REALTOR for many years and her brother a residential developer. Garrett consistently remained a top 10 producer in her Charlotte firm with annual sales volume averaging $15 million.

Wanting a change from the fast paced lifestyle of a growing city, Garrett and her family decided to move to the Lowcountry in 2006. Her expertise includes everything from walking first time buyers through the process of purchasing a home to working with executive relocation professionals. In addition, she has years of experience in new construction and design.

Garrett earned a degree in Marketing and Public Relations from the University of Georgia School of Journalism. She has been a licensed Broker in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Colorado and has furthered her education in real estate in order to earn her CRS and SFA designations. Garrett also earned the REALTOR of Distinction Award for her successes in 2011. She currently resides in Mount Pleasant, with her husband Trey, daughter Lila, son Shaw, and their two dogs. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going to the beach, practicing yoga, and has a strong passion for visiting Colorado.
