Harold Holt

A native of the Lowcountry, Harold grew up in downtown Charleston and spent most of his summers on the beaches and waterways that surround the Charleston area. Raised in a real estate family, Harold has an established knowledge of the historic homes of downtown Charleston, Mt. Pleasant as well as the beaches. He currently lives on Sullivans Island with his lab/boykin retriever Bear.

Harold graduated from Woodberry Forest High School in Virginia before returning home to earn a B.A. degree in History at the College of Charleston in 1994. After college he began his career selling uniquely designed Log Homes in Greensboro, N.C., where he gained an extensive knowledge of the architectural design and building process of homes.

Harold then moved back to the Lowcountry and worked as a Financial Advisor for seven years with Wachovia Securities, where he was responsible for the management and trading of assets in excess of $180 million. He also spent time working with an investment group that purchased, sold and developed land on the pacific coast of Costa Rica.

Harold loves all that Charleston has to offer and works hard to find the best home that uniquely fits his client’s needs.
